Dreaming Tree Counseling
My goal is to help my clients find their own personal strengths, stop suffering from uncomfortable symptoms, learn healthy coping strategies and to lead them to a more peaceful/hopeful place.
Counseling Services
I offer many types of modalities in areas of trauma, PTSD, divorce, co-parenting, anxiety, depression, ADHD, weight loss/nutrition, and behavioral/anger problems.
Appointments Available
I enjoy working with tweens, teens, young adults and adults. I’d like the opportunity to support you in your goals, and help you make lasting changes in you and your family’s life.
Teletherapy
We are living in extremely stressful times and experiencing a global trauma. Teletherapy is the perfect solution for your safety and mine.
Teletherapy is remote session that uses technology to help us communicate. Some examples of teletherapy include: doing therapy sessions over the phone, having a group chat for group therapy, using videoconferencing for individual, couples, or group therapy.
Our world has been turned upside down. You are not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out.
“When we deny our stories and disengage from tough emotions, they don’t go away; instead, they own us, they define us. Our job is not to deny the story, but to defy the ending—to rise strong, recognize our story, and rumble with the truth until we get to a place where we think, Yes. This is what happened. This is my truth. And I will choose how this story ends.”

More About Me
I opened Dreaming Tree Counseling because I am very passionate about helping children and adolescents communicate thoughts and feelings, regulate emotions and cope with life stressors. I enjoy working 1-1 with clients but also love working with families to build strong connections and healthy relationships. Specializing in working with children has deepened my desire to provide counseling to adults to heal from disturbing past experiences, often from their own childhood. I am trained in EMDR, which is very effective in enabling people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are a result of these experiences.
My goal is to help my clients find their own personal strengths, stop suffering from uncomfortable symptoms, learn healthy coping strategies and to lead them to a more peaceful/hopeful place.
I enjoy spending time with my husband, 12-year old daughter and 11-year old son, and our Newfiedoodle puppy, Herman, who will be starting training soon to be a therapy dog. I am an avid DMB (Dave Matthews Band) fan and concert goer. I love sports, especially NBA basketball and follow the Pacers. My favorite hobby is couponing. You can find me every Sunday, clipping coupons, watching videos of professional couponers on YouTube, getting ready for the deals of the week. I haven’t paid for toothpaste in over 3 years (no, I’m not stealing it and yes, I do brush my teeth twice per day)!
